Guy Noble is one of Australia's most versatile musicians — a conductor, pianist and broadcaster who has guested with every state symphony orchestra in Australia, plus the Auckland Philharmonia, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Malaysian Philharmonic and Bergen Philharmonic. His career sits at the intersection of orchestral concert-hall work, opera, music education and broadcast.

For more than a decade he has hosted and accompanied Opera Australia's Great Opera Hits at the Sydney Opera House — a long-running concert series that draws thousands of Sydney audiences a year. A long-time presenter on ABC Classic FM, he hosted the network's breakfast programme from 1999 to 2001 and continues to appear regularly as a guest host. His broadcasting voice is, for many Australians, the daily companion of classical music on the radio.

In March 2025 Guy Noble joined Permanent Conductor Wang Linlin on the podium for the Sydney Opera House finale of the China National Symphony Orchestra Chorus Australian tour. The two conductors shared duties on a programme that culminated in a full performance of Xian Xinghai's Yellow River Cantata — the orchestral finale of the three-city tour, performed with The Australia Orchestra. Noble's career-long engagement with both the Australian symphonic establishment and major international ensembles made him a natural choice to anchor the Sydney evening.

Has guested with every state symphony orchestra in Australia — plus Auckland, Hong Kong, Malaysian and Bergen Philharmonics.
